Will Mick Foley Compete At WWE WrestleMania 28?

Is a Dolph Ziggler vs. Mick Foley match at WrestleMania 28 likely or just a pipe dream?

Mick Foley spoke to Sam Roberts of the Opie & Anthony show and said that he was likely to wrestle in the WWE in the next few months but did note that it would take him about three months to get back into proper ring shape. Foley also noted that he may stop doing comedy for a while to get him back into ring shape for a WWE return. When Foley came back to the WWE back in November, Foley was hinting in interviews that he would compete at WrestleMania 28 claiming he thought he had one more WWE run left in him and that if he could wrestle anyone in the company right now it would be The Miz. On early house shows, Foley was booked in confrontations with The Miz and to us it looked like the WWE were going to build to some kind of hardcore match at WrestleMania where Foley could make The Miz look like the ravage and dangerous competitor they are trying to book him as now. Whilst the WWE have certainly gone in the direction of trying to make The Miz less of a joke character in recent weeks, he has also locked himself into a program with R-Truth which could theoretically go all the way to a blow-off match at WrestleMania. On this week's latest edition of RAW, Foley said he wanted a slot in the upcoming 30-man Royal Rumble and had a confrontation with Dolph Ziggler in the ring. This came off really well and the two had noticeably good chemistry. With no clear storyline for Ziggler at Mania, perhaps he will get that slot with Foley. It would certainly has the potential to be a great feud and an awesome match if booked correctly. But as Foley says he needs a few months to get him back into shape (it is now less than three months to WrestleMania) because he looked off the pace on Monday for the offense he did.
