One of the most important and identifiable parts of a wrestler's repertoire is their entrance. Along with a superstar's finisher, attitude, and look, a wrestler's entrance defines who they are, and how we feel about them, before they even step into the ring. A superstar's entrance usually connects with their personality and sends a message to their opponent. Just think about the manner, music, and mood Mankind's entrance creates. His entrance showed off his schizophrenic and deranged persona with as much efficacy as his promos and appearance. So if a wrestlers entrance is truly special, our opinion of that wrestler, whether good or bad, is embellished and influenced by their signature entrance. A superstar's entrance, as it pertains to this list, includes more than just their theme music. When referring to a superstar's entrance, I'm referring to their: theme music, demeanor, iconic spots, and affect on the crowd. It took me a while to whittle the list down to just ten entrances but without further ado let's begin!
Honorable Mention: Shawn Michaels
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0-0DXDUamEg Shawn Michaels is the greatest superstar in wrestling history. Obviously I'm biased when I say that because HBK is one of my favorite wrestlers of all time. But night in and night out he gave us his all and put on a showafter all, he is the show stopper! He had the athleticism, the move set, the charisma, and a truly memorable entrance. Now I'm sure some people will be mad at me for listing Shawn Michael's entrance as an honorable mention. After all, his entrance stood the test of time and is beloved by WWE fans everywhere. He's used the same theme for decades and it still works. The only reason his entrance falls just shy of the top 10 is because it didn't quite pump up the crowd as much as the other entrances on this list. But HBKs entrance and the following 10 entrances are so fantastic and closely matched, that they could truly place anywhere on this list. To me, HBKs entrance is great. But it's only number 11 on my top 10 list.
