WWE: 10 Best Old School Entrance Themes Ever

WWE Old School Sometimes when you speak to a casual wrestling fan the first thing they remember about a particular Superstar is their entrance music. For a large part of the 1980s and 1990s Jimmy Hart and Jim Johnston composed some of the most memorable and catchy WWF/E theme songs of all time. In the late 1990s wrestlers began to use 'real' music to come to the ring rather than the generic WWE theme tunes of old with mainstream bands lending their tunes to WWE to accompany stars down the aisle. In memory of those great days before bands like Papa Roach, Motorhead and Metallica came along and spoiled it all What Culture takes a trip down memory lane and remembers 10 of the very best old school theme tunes of all time. See how many you remember.

10. Doink The Clown (heel)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xbLc88PaMVE Doink is one of those characters that divides wrestling fans right down the middle. On the one hand a clown is a terrible gimmick and for many years this was true but on the other hand with Matt Bourne under the make-up the Doink character was actually pretty damn scary and effective. For starters he could actually wrestle, was a great talker and portrayed the role of a schizophrenic children's entertainer to an Academy Award winning standard. Well, almost. Love him or hate him however there's no denying that heel Doink had some awesome theme music which filled young kids with dread whenever it was piped into an arena. Laughter and tears played over a demonic sounding circus theme? C'mon people it was the stuff of nightmares. Sadly Doink became a babyface and as a result became as bad as everyone remembers. If only Matt Bourne had lasted a little while longer.
