Teams have always played a major role in giving otherwise over looked talent a push in professional wrestling. Stables like the Nation of Domination, D-Generation X, Evolution, The Filthy Animals, The Acolytes, and The Corporation are among a few that managed to team up well-established stars and overlooked ones alike and give them a push to the forefront. Currently the 3 man teams of the Shield and the Wyatts are immensely popular and successful, and considering that those teams are composed of relative unknowns that became viable title contenders is a testament to the trope that there's power in number. Word is that the WWE is planning on taking Dolf Ziggler, The Miz, and Zack Ryder-3 superstars that are very well known and have had a strong pop in the past. Ziggler and the Miz are former World Champions. However, these Superstars are apparently disgruntled, at least in kayfaybe, and seem to be taking their ire to the mic and letting the fans know. From Miz's history and come up through the media to Ryder and Ziggler's use of the internet and social media to engage the fans, there are a multitude of traditional and not so traditional ways this team could successed. There are generally two kinds of stables--the kinds that protect one wrestler, like Straight Edge Society, and the kind that catapult all the stars, like Evolution--we can only hope that this one would be organized to launch all three stars to the Main Event. These three wrestlers in general are great candidates for capturing the underdog spirit and by utilizing a variety of strategies as a stable they could easily catapult into the lime light.
