8. Chris Jericho Will Return And Hold The Intercontinental Title Again
We know he'll probably return at some point. At the moment he's completely denying a Royal Rumble return but he will surely be back in the first half of the year. At the moment, the IC Title is held by Big E Langston and he's doing a great job of elevating the title. The recent match against Fandango was a really good watch. Now, I'm not saying Jericho defeats Big E but what I am saying is that 'the title makes the man' and with the mid-card titles being in a better position than in years, it's time for Jericho to hold one. Y2J has never had a problem putting over newer, younger stars. He seems to positively enjoy it, but what better way to put over a new guy than to defeat the man who has defined the IC title in the noughties? I'm not predicting if Jericho will be face or heel, in a way it doesn't matter. Holding that title will give the fans one last chance to really cheer for the guy and it will also make a younger superstar. I really hope this one happens.
