WWE: 10 Times The Fans Completely Rejected What They Were Seeing

Crowd reactions in professional wrestling matches are very important. The way a crowd reacts to somebody can impact the direction of a performer's career in a positive way and in a negative way. There are plenty of instances where a crowd has not given the WWE officials a reaction they wanted, so that's what we're going to look at today. While it's difficult to know how a crowd is going to react every time, there are many instances where WWE knows exactly what the crowd is going to do and if they give them the response they want then they have them hooked basically. It's that ability to excite a crowd, to make them want to see more of that person and to get them to tune in week after week that is what WWE is based on. One of the matches I thought about including was The Rock vs. Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania 18, but I ended up leaving it out because the whole thing was designed to turn Hogan babyface and that's what happened anyway. It's important to note that just because fans completely rejected something doesn't make it that bad all the time. Sometimes it's a case of cheering a heel and then that person ends up having a lot of success as a babyface as you'll see in some of the choices. After recently taking a look at the 20 loudest crowd reactions ever, it's time to focus in on those reactions that didn't give WWE the response they were looking for.
