WWE 13: 10 Reasons To Be Excited

Attitude era returns, WWE live, biggest roster of playable characters ever! Here's 10 reasons why we can't wait for WWE 13...

Ah€ time surely runs really fast, €˜eh? A little over six months have passed since THQ€™s WWE 12 hit gaming stores worldwide. It had promised us a €œBigger, Better, Badder€ gaming experience that was said to be so authentic it would feel like watching actual WWE TV. That€™s what they said, anyway. In the end many of their improvements were relatively minor and kind of less significant to enhance the overall experience (mostly toward graphics engine, physics, creation suite, and roster updates) but it was a far more satisfying gaming experience then the Raw vs Smackdown franchise. Now that WWE 13 has been officially unveiled and is just over four months away from release, we can start to officially look forward to THQ's second roll of the dice with their newly numbered franchise. Following the game cover revelation by CM Punk last Monday on Raw, THQ released a press release revealing the key features the new game will carry. There are reasons to be excited, broskis. Here are 10 of them based on the official highlighted features, and others we expect to be included in WWE 13;

1. "WWE LIVE" - Yes! Yes! Yes! It's All About In-Game Interaction

WWE LIVE promises us a significant authenticity of the WWE live event by the form of audio responses, according to THQ. My guessing is that this improvement will act as a companion for the Predator Technology. Think of it like the audio version of Predator Technology. Marrying those two elements together will add dynamic responses and transitions within the game; like crowd participation, commentary, and sound effects. Which means: We can expect to hear John Cena get cheered and booed by the crowd at the same time and €œLet€™s go, Cena! CENA SUCKS!€ chants instead of total cheering. This will be based on superstars gimmicks and actual current reactions from the crowd meaning we can expect to hear multiple €œYES!€ chants after every major move that Daniel Bryan performs. Remember €˜WWF SmackDown! - Just Bring It€™? For me it has the most responsive and dynamic commentary of all WWE games to date. Err€ almost too dynamic (and over-enthusiastic). We will talk more about this later but hey it looks like WWE 13 is back on the right track with improvements. Hopefully.
