1. The Shield, Brock Lesnar, Paul Heyman, CM Punk, Vince McMahon, etc...
This whole thing is a little bit complicated to explain. At a certain point I'm not sure if everything even has a connection. It was uncovered that Paul Heyman had hired The Shield to help CM Punk win matches. Upon this discovery Vince McMahon was poised to fire Heyman from the company when Brock Lensar emerged from backstage in his return to the WWE and proceeded to deliver an F5 to the Chairman. Most recently, Paul Heyman was a guest on MizTV with the Miz and again Lesnar came out. This time he flipped furniture, threw chairs at The Miz, and again delivered an F5. Now here's where I'm not so sure of the connections. We know Paul Heyman had a direct connection to The Shield. And we also know that Heyman obviously has a direct connection to Brock Lesnar. We also know that Heyman has a direct connection to CM Punk. What we don't know is if Lesnar or CM Punk have any connection to The Shield, or do they have any connections to each other? Or is the common link just Heyman and these stories actually don't overlap with one another. And is Heyman's job safe simply because Vince McMahon suffered a broken hip as the result of Lesnar's F5? And ultimately what is The Shield's endgame? They seemed to be helping Punk out all along but are now in a match with John Cena, Ryback, and Sheamus at Elimination Chamber. Are they really Heyman's hired guns or was that just some work on the side? I'm really looking forward to seeing how this all plays out. Enjoy the ride, this is the best time of the year to be a fan.
