WWE: 7 Daniel Bryan Rivalries We Want To See

Daniel Bryan If you've watched WWE programming in 2013 I think you can make a case for Daniel Bryan as the most popular wrestler in WWE this year. Is he the biggest draw in the company? Probably not. That's John Cena. Is he the biggest guy? Hardly. He's about 5'10" and 200 pounds soaking wet. What Daniel Bryan is, though, is one of the most talented wrestlers in the world. He's been a top performer for many years when he was working in Ring of Honor, Japan and indies all around the world. Over the past couple of years in WWE he's shown his talent on the grandest stage. As much as I enjoy Bryan's in-ring work, I've also enjoyed his growth as a performer in the last couple of years as well. When he first won the World Title two years ago and he turned into a heel character he delivered some awesome promos. His on-screen girlfriend AJ Lee would tell him how much she loved him while he would reply back in a condescending tone. He also had a chance to deliver more promos, which he looked very comfortable doing. Last year and at the start of this year, Bryan was able to show more of a comedic side as part of his Team Hell No team with Kane as his partner. It made Bryan more likable too. I think Bryan's the complete package. He has the skill set to do anything. I think he thrives as an underdog babyface kind of wrestler that is very gifted in terms of submission wresting. The only thing he's lacking is size, but that shouldn't matter because of how popular he is. Of course to Vince McMahon and WWE Creative that matters too much, which is why he's not at the top of the card anymore. Now that we're at the end of 2013 and 2014 is just around the corner, it's time to think of some new rivalries for Bryan to have going forward. For the sake of the column, I'm going to keep Bryan in his babyface role for all of these scenarios because I think that's the best way to use him.
