WWE: 7 Most Impressive Streaks Of The Modern Era

There are many numbers related to pro wrestling that are impressive and would be considered streaks. They can range from win streaks to title reigns to main eventing a certain number of shows to a winning streak of matches. It's important to note that the list is going to look at the Modern Era, which is widely considered to be the WrestleMania years, so that goes back to 1984. If we were looking at the years before that then obviously the really long WWF Title runs of guys like Bruno Sammartino and Bob Backlund would be the clear winners. Since WWE bought WCW in 2001, we're also going to include one WCW streak just because it was a very big deal at the time and had a big impact on WWE programming as well. It was difficult to narrow the list down to just seven things, but there had to be some cutoff point. There are some recent things on here although mostly it's older stuff. Something like AJ Lee's current Divas Title reign breaking records didn't make it because the title isn't even ten years old at this point. History is important in this kind of thing. Some of these are going to be really obvious. Others not so much. Let's jump right into it.
