WWE Accidentally Mention AEW During Last Night's Raw

Vince McMahon won't be happy about this one...

WWE mentioning other wrestling promotions has been a major no-no for years, but the company's social media team dropped a clanger during last night's Raw.

This week's episode saw NXT Tag Team Champions The Street Profits debut backstage. First appearing in the night's opening spiel, they re-emerged in a backstage interview with Charly Caruso, before ruffling Paul Heyman's feathers later on.

As always, the company posted a picture of Montez Ford and Angel Dawkins backstage to coincide with their appearances. Unfortunately, though, they made a notable boob in the original post:-

Nice one, lads.

It looks like one of AEW's many Executive Vice Presidents had their eye on the ball, though:-

Autocorrect or not, this isn't a great look for for the promotion. It'd take a great deal of repetition for someone's phone to default to "AEW" when attempting to type "are." This means that the culprit has clearly been searching for WWE's biggest North American rival a lot, though the promotion have since deleted their error.

AEW have been less shy about jabbing WWE: this week's Being the Elite features at least three shots at the promotion.
