WWE Airing Daniel Bryan Documentary Preview On WWE Network

The 30 minute special airs tonight after Raw.

Following tonight's episode of Raw there will be a first look at WWE Home Video's latest release, "Daniel Bryan - Just Say Yes! Yes! Yes!" on the WWE Network. The new DVD, complete with a documentary, is released on June 2nd. The airing on WWE Network will be a 30 minute preview. WWE released a one minute preview clip to get people ready for it. In the clip, Bryan talked about the 2014 Royal Rumble when Bryan wasn't a part of the Rumble match: "They're not going to like that I'm not in this Royal Rumble here. I didn't know how much they weren't going to like it and did not realize that they were going to boo Rey Mysterio - like the biggest babyface - nobody boos Rey. I knew fans weren't going to like it." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yhW-JvO0joo Bryan also told the story about he wanted to face Triple H or Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania. Instead, Vince McMahon wanted him to wrestle Sheamus at WrestleMania 30. That's the story that was out prior to the Royal Rumble. Then CM Punk walked out of WWE after the Royal Rumble, so Bryan replaced him in the match with Triple H and with Bryan's popularity at an all time high WWE also made the right call in putting the WWE Title on him at WrestleMania 30. It will be very interesting to hear Bryan talk more in-depth about everything leading up to WrestleMania 30 because WWE should have had him win the Royal Rumble, yet they just didn't believe in him. The fans did, though, which is why he got to main event WrestleMania. Ultimately they got it right. It's just that they took the long road to get there instead of the easier and simpler route. There are a lot of things that will be fascinating to hear about like how the whole "Yes" movement started because it was initially done when he was a heel World Champion that was cocky and did it to annoy people. Then people caught on to it with WrestleMania 28 (the famous loss to Sheamus) that really set it in motion for Bryan to become a top face. He's talked about it in interviews before, but getting his perspective on how that happened as well as people within the company changing their tune on Bryan will be really insightful to see. As far as Bryan's current status goes, he's on the shelf with that neck/shoulder injury that has caused him problems for the last year. We don't know when he might be back or if he will be back at all. It's a sad situation. In addition to the DVD release, Bryan also wrote an autobiography called: "Yes!: My Improbable Journey to the Main Event of WrestleMania." There's a preview of the first two chapters up on WWE.com right now.
