It’s time for SummerSlam, the party of the summer, the second...or third biggest wrestling event WWE puts on. It's the annual tradition where Americans come together on a Sunday night and say to one another “Hey, instead of watching Golden Truth every Monday, we can watch the NFL in a few weeks!”
Random wrestling thoughts: The worst line of the week is awarded to Charlotte with “I’m Meryl Streep and you’re Anne Hathaway, and this devil will be wearing gold on Sunday.” WWE, please take note, people DO NOT talk like that! Second place goes to Dolph Ziggler for threatening to kick Dean’s head off his face, which would be a pretty damn impressive feat.
Once again, I don’t get Sasha Banks anymore. And it hurts. She called Dana Brooke Miss Piggy, which is a sh***y thing to say, then she put down Byron Saxton and bragged about how Beyonce and Jay Z are coming to her party. Why should we like her? Oh sorry, WWE creative already explained it: because she's THE BOSS.
On the plus side of wrestling life, Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho calling Tom Phillips the wrong name repeatedly was great. That is all.
