WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (Jan 11)

From Total Divas to poor Roman trying way, way too hard.

This week we saw both extremes on the scale of good and bad in the world of professional wrestling. Global Force Wrestling and New Japan teamed up to wow fans with amazing athleticism, great announcing, and a lack of men in animal costumes. On the other end of the spectrum, Total Divas returned and saw Natalya drive into a dumpster. It felt like a metaphor for the show, and perhaps the entire company. Sadly, it was also a week of lies! On Raw, JBL told us we€™ll always remember where we were for Roman Reigns vs. The Big Show. That just seems like over-hyping to the extreme. I don€™t know where I was...the bathroom maybe? TNA returned to TV for the first time in months, and it actually wasn€™t half bad. Not something you€™d really look forward to, but at least it wasn€™t horribly embarrassing. Consider that a success! However, some things this week were horribly embarrassing. Seven things to be exact! So let€™s take a look back at the week of wrestling, and re-live and remember the moments that hurt our brain the most. As Sandman€™s theme song said (or went something like this I think) €œExit light, enter night, take my Singapore cane, we€™re off to worst of the week!€

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
