WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (Oct 15)

1. Randy Orton Sees What He’s Become

All right. WWE can never again make fun of WCW for putting Ultimate Warrior in a mirror on their Network. Because they did something just as stupid. Shorter, yes. But just as stupid.

At No Mercy, Randy Orton looked into a mirror, and his face started to morph. It was comically bad, and was used to promote the main event of the show. How did no one stop this from happening? How did no one say “Hey, WCW once put Warrior in a mirror, and it was oneof the dumbest things they’ve ever done. So we should probably not do that.”?

It was as stupid as an 8 year old child preventing John Cena from winning a cage match. It was dumber than two wrestlers feuding over a third-rate candy bar. I know the crowd loves their “This is awesome!” chants, but how can they not bust out a “That was f***ing stupid! That was f***ing stupid!” chant when we get stuff like that?

I don't know. It hurts to think about. I just wish Vince McMahon would look in a mirror himself and realize that his type of entertainment in wrestling is usually the absolute worst kind.

Time to kick out.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
