WWE Announces NXT Takeover In London On December 16

Tickets on sale tomorrow!

The first ever NXT Takeover event outside of the United States will take place on Wednesday, December 16 at the SSE Arena in London, England. It's the last day of WWE's first UK tour that was announced last week. The official announcement was made in a tweet by Triple H on Thursday. He also posted it on Facebook as well. https://twitter.com/TripleH/status/636939000717119488 The seven day tour will run at these locations: Dec. 10: Metro Radio Arena in Newcastle Dec. 11: SSE Hydro in Glasgow Dec. 12: Sheffield Arena in Sheffield Dec. 13: Empress Ballroom in Blackpool Dec. 14: Capital FM Arena in Nottingham Dec. 15: MotorPoint Arena in Cardfiff Dec. 16: SSE Arena in London With a listed capacity at 12,500, the SSE Arena should have a very vocal crowd. It's likely going to be a sellout just based on how quickly tickets have gone already and knowing that the cameras will be there, fans will definitely want to be in the building. For WWE fans in North America, it will be a Wednesday afternoon show. With Takeover Brooklyn starting at 9pmET, if they were to do that for the UK show then that means it would start at 4pmET for people in the Eastern time zone and 1pmPT for people on the west coast. Of course, all WWE Network shows are on demand, so if you miss it live you can watch it at your own convenience. There will also be another WWE Takeover event on October 7 at Full Sail University in Orlando. That means there will be a total of five NXT Takeover specials put on by WWE, which is an upgrade over the four from 2014. Here's a prediction of the card by our Grahame Herbert. It's definitely an exciting time for WWE's NXT brand as well as UK wrestling fans.
