RIP Beach Ball Mania.

New Orleans may average day highs of 78 degrees fahrenheit in April, but it won't be beach ball weather at WrestleMania 34.

According to Dave Meltzer in this week's Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE have officially banned the inflatables from their year's biggest show, following a long series of distractions throughout last year.

The information came from an email that was sent en masse to fans who have purchased travel packages for the event. As well as beach balls, balloons, iPads, and all other tablets have also been banned from the show.

It was reported last year that WWE had barred all pool-related paraphernalia from all live events, so this is more of an affirmation of an existing regulation than a new one. Regardless, it ensures that Beach Ball Mania is effectively dead, and should prevent distractions at this year's 'Show Of Shows.'

The sight of Cesaro hopping the barricade to grab an inflatable and tear it apart at SummerSlam became a meme last year. This is a divisive issue, though, with those responsible accused of disrespecting the wrestlers and attempting to hijack the show to put themselves over.
