Tom Phillips seems like a nice guy, even if his constantly shifting height has lead many fans to believing that he's part of some dark Illuminati-esque conspiracy. He's affable, if a bit wet - the next Michael Cole basically - but he does not know how to relax his gameface. Twice on the pre-show Renee Young segued to Tom Phillips backstage and both times the audience was greeted by Tom's awkward, slightly-too-intense grin staring at them, his face unmoving, waiting for his cue, for an amount of time that pushed slightly beyond comfortable.
