WWE: Brock Lesnar Will Face Cesaro Or The Rock At WrestleMania 31 - Report

Brock Lesnar versus Cesaro or The Rock is currently pencilled in for WrestleMania 31, reports the Figure Four Weekly Newsletter. The reason for Cesaro being placed in the equation is over doubts about The Rock being willing to work. The 41 year old Dwayne Johnson is increasingly injury prone, as proved by his Mania 29 effort with John Cena, there is doubts his Hollywood agents would sanction a Rock match in 2015 due to safety and film insurance reasons. Added to this is the fact Undertaker got badly injured in what was considered to be a 'safe' version of a Brock Lesnar match at WrestleMania 30. However, while Rock vs Brock would be the bigger draw, the exciting possibilities of matching Cesaro against Lesnar would be a real treat for the internet wrestling community. Cesaro has proved to be arguably the best in-ring wrestler in the company over the last couple of years, so seeing him with a push behind his character is getting fans very excited indeed. The Lesnar match would elevate Cesaro significantly and would play out nicely with them both being Heyman Guys. You would expect Cesaro to turn face and Heyman with Lesnar turn on him. Cesaro's strength, pace, power and agility in the ring would guarantee Brock Lesnar a great WrestleMania match. Both are superb athletes, plus Cesaro has accuracy and timing down to perfection. In some ways it might be reminiscent of Lesnar's old battles with Kurt Angle. Whether it ends up being The Rock of Cesaro, one thing for certain, WWE are booking Brock Lesnar as strongly as possible going forward.
