WWE Concerned Wade Barrett's Neck Injury Is Serious?

Stardust meanwhile has been cleared for a return.

Wade Barrett's neck injury that his currently keeping him out of the ring is said to be serious and is concerning WWE officials, reports the latest issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. No further details are known over Barrett's condition but he hasn't worked a match since the Tribute to the Troops taping on December 8th, which incidentally aired on TV last night. Barrett has been appearing in League of Nations segments on WWE TV lately but has largely endured a limited role as he recuperates from his latest setback.

Staying with WWE injuries, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter also notes that Stardust (Cody Rhodes) was cleared for a return to the wrestling ring this past Monday but officials decided against putting him in a match on Raw or the live Super Smackdown. As we noted earlier, it was Ric Flair during his podcast that revealed Stardust had been out of action for the last few weeks after enduring an injury during his December 7th WWE RAW match against Jack Swagger. His return to the ring would now appear to be imminent after being cleared.
