WWE Could Be Interested In Former Model And UFC Fighter
The friend of Ronda Rousey could be signed to WWE.
People are pushing WWE to try out UFC fighter Jessamyn Duke in the Diva Search competition later this year, reports Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. Duke is still under UFC contract, but is expected to be cut if she loses her next fight. She's currently on a two fight losing streak and isn't very rounded as a mixed martial artist. She previously worked as a model, but got into MMA and eventually found brief fame on The Ultimate Fighter tv show. Following that, she became a member of Ronda Rousey's Four Horsewomen. But the Horsewomen are basically riding Rousey's coat tails. Duke and the other girls are nowhere near any sort of success in their own careers. UFC wouldn't miss her. In the WWE, her looks and athleticism, plus the association to Rousey, could really her take places with the company. She's also a genuine fan of the WWE, in addition to following indie wrestling shows. It's reasonable to think she'd fit right in with pro wrestling. If a deal ever was done for Ronda Rousey, one angle could be the Four Horsewomen against Charlotte, Sasha Banks, Bayley and Becky Lynch. WWE are still hopeful of working with Rousey again, and signing Jessamyn Duke could help their relationship with the UFC Bantamweight Women's Champion.
