WWE: Dolph Ziggler Delivers Must See Fired Up Promo

When looking back on 2013 in WWE, the name Dolph Ziggler is a perfect example of how WWE likes to change their opinions of people too quickly. He ended 2012 with the Money in the Bank briefcase and even headlined the TLC PPV against John Cena in a match that he won. The night after WrestleMania 29, Ziggler won the World Title and received one of the biggest ovations of the year. Soon after, a concussion derailed him and then he lost the World Title to Alberto Del Rio while turning face in the process. The face turn should have led to him winning the World Title back, but it did not. Today? Ziggler is lost in that vast sea called the WWE midcard. This week on Smackdown, Ziggler lost clean to Antonio Cesaro in a match for a spot in the Elimination Chamber match. After the match, Ziggler did an interview with Todd Phillips that was shown on the WWE App and also WWE's website. Ziggler delivered a fired up promo that is unlike what you usually see a WWE performer say. Why? Because it appeared to be coming from the heart instead of from the pen of a WWE writer. When you hear Ziggler talk about how comfortable he is talking to the media, going in the ring to wrestle and proving himself along the way. That's the kind of guy that is appealing to wrestling fans because it shows how passionate he is. "Everything I do is to become better! The best! Ever!" He ended it by saying he will not be outshined. The other thing that this promo showed is that WWE needs to allow its talents to speak from the heart. We need more promos like this and less promos where talents have to take part in obviously choreographed backstage segments where it looks like they're not trying to forget their line. Have faith in your talents, WWE. Believe in a guy like Dolph Ziggler. He wants to be the best. Just give him that chance.
