Sunday's Elimination Chamber PPV has a number of issues (chief among them the fact that the WWE Championship will not be contested in a Chamber match), but the WWE must be credited for sculpting a decent card regardless. The two Chamber bouts look set to be typically exciting, with both the Intercontinental and Tag Team matches full of talented workers, while the clash between John Cena and Kevin Owens should finally announce the NXT Champion's arrival on the main stage in a big way. Amidst all this lurks the title bout between former allies Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose, a pair of superstars who are now rightly relied upon to deliver compelling action every time they step in the ring. There are weak points on the show - as there are on almost any WWE card - but every match seems to fulfil a purpose. Despite such early promise, Elimination Chamber is still far from a guaranteed success. The quality of the show lies in the hands of the booking team as much as it does the men (and women) between the ropes, especially given the show's importance as a Network-exclusive PPV. The WWE will be keen to attract potential subscribers with a stellar event, and similarly eager to set the summer's impending storylines in motion.
