WWE Elimination Chamber PPV - Updated Card

Elimination Chamber WWE's next PPV Elimination Chamber takes place on Sunday February 23rd in Minneapolis, Minnesota and the card is now starting to take shape. This past Monday on Raw, Stephanie McMahon informed us that Randy Orton would defend the WWE World Heavyweight Championship inside the Chamber. We also found out that three of his opponents in that match would be John Cena, Sheamus and Daniel Bryan. This week on Smackdown, we found out who the other two men would be in the Chamber match. Antonio Cesaro beat Dolph Ziggler in the first qualifier and Christian defeated Jack Swagger in the other one. While neither is likely to win the Chamber match and there€™s a chance that Christian could be replaced by somebody else (that€™s a rumor), both men are great in-ring performers that will definitely improve the quality of the match. Who will leave WWE€™s Elimination Chamber as the WWE World Heavyweight Champion? It€™s likely that it will be Randy Orton because it would allow him to go into WrestleMania as the champion. Most fans want it to be Daniel Bryan. It€™s possible, which makes the match a must see. Another big match on the card is a six man tag match featuring The Shield going up against The Wyatt Family. It€™s expected that The Shield will be breaking up soon (in order to push Roman Reigns as a babyface), so it€™s the right time to do a match like this one. In terms of the booking, a win for the Wyatt Family seems likely since they will be together for longer going forward and a loss for The Shield could lead to their split. We already covered the news that Brock Lesnar isn€™t expected to be at the event because he has met all of his PPV obligations for the last year. He likely won€™t be back until the night after Elimination Chamber to set up the rumored match against The Undertaker at WrestleMania. The rest of the undercard will take shape over the next couple of weeks with Batista likely taking on Alberto Del Rio and we€™ll see what happens with the tag team champions too. Hopefully Big E Langston gets an actual feud for the Intercontinental Title because lately it€™s been forgotten. Elimination Chamber is a big show for WWE. The lineup looks strong already with its top two matches announced. We€™ll update whenever new matches are announced.
