WWE Extreme Rules 2016: 8 Matches We Most Want To See

At the time of writing, three matches have been officially confirmed for Extreme Rules.

AJ Styles will get a rematch for Roman Reigns' WWE World Heavyweight Championship (this time with no holds barred), the New Day will face off against The Vaudevillains for tag title gold, and Charlotte will again defend her Women's Championship against Natalya, this time in a submission match.

Two further matches seem to be firmly in the works: a fatal four way for Intercontinental gold (Miz vs. Zayn vs. Owens vs. Cesaro) and Rusev vs. US Champion Kalisto.

But what are the other matches we'd most like to see on May 22nd?

Extreme Rules is shaping up to be a worryingly similar card to Payback but, with a few slight changes, WWE can easily put together a card that should impress from both match quality and booking standpoints.

Here are some ways how...

8. Sasha Banks Vs. Becky Lynch

The women's division has stalled slightly since WrestleMania. Charlotte and Natalya's match last Sunday was marred by a horrendous finish, and the only other ongoing feud having any attention paid to it is Becky Lynch vs. Emma.

With all due respect to Emma, I feel as though the majority of fans would prefer to see Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch iron out their existing differences in a number one contender's match.

Sasha has a legitimate - and rather heelish - gripe with Becky, given the fact that the Lass Kicker tapped out at 'Mania, costing both women their WrestleMania moment.

This would set up a prime rival for Charlotte heading into the summer, and remind us all that the women's division isn't merely built around the title.
