WWE Fastlane Main Event - Brock Lesnar Vs Roman Reigns Vs Dean Ambrose

Winner will face Triple H at WrestleMania.

The main event for WWE Fastlane will be Brock Lesnar versus Roman Reigns versus Dean Ambrose in a number one contender match, with the winner facing Triple H at WrestleMania 32. One thing is assured: it will be a very good match, with three quality performers doing battle, but it is also painfully predictable. Brock Lesnar will be taken out by an interfering Bray Wyatt, and Roman Reigns will pin Dean Ambrose. That then sets up Reigns versus Triple H, and Lesnar versus Wyatt. Ambrose is only in the match to take the fall, and because WWE didn't want to blow Reigns versus Lesnar 2 at this point. There's also narrative holes to the booking: Stephanie McMahon announced the match at the end of Raw, but why would she put her husband in that position? Potentially having to face Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania? Where's the logic on Stephanie's side? As for giving Reigns another shot, why would they put him in that position? It is classic creative, in which they just ignore logic when it comes to booking their heel characters. At least fans will be getting a main event with in-ring quality. There's also the fact that Brock Lesnar was the main event on the top five drawing shows of 2015. It is a solid draw to have Lesnar versus Reigns versus Ambrose at Fastlane.
