WWE Hall Of Fame 'Legacy' Inductees Leaked

Women's wrestling legend and veteran promoter to be honoured.

Reliable Twitter source WrestleVotes has unveiled a host of names which look set to be inducted into the 'Legacy' wing of their Hall of Fame, the branch of the ceremony generally reserved for historical names the company considers worthy of esteem but less relevant to modern audiences.

It's odd, then, that Luna Vachon is slated to be amongst the class, given she was part of WWE just twenty years back and even managed current superstar Goldust. Vachon was a legitimate trailblazer for women's wrestling during her career, notably competing for all three major US nationals.

It's a little peculiar that in a year when WWE are promoting the first ever all-female WrestleMania main event that they'd pull out the red carpet for Torrie Wilson and not Luna, though the latter's untimely drug-related death has almost certainly motivated that decision.

Georgia Championship Wrestling promoter Jim Barnett is also tipped for a nod, as well as mid-'80s AWA star 'Playboy' Buddy Rose. Wahoo McDaniel, one of the biggest stars of the NWA throughout the '70s and '70s, is the last name leaked.

WWE tend to induct a whole slew of names into their legacy wing each year, so expect a few more added to this list on the night.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
