WWE: He Is The Miz And His Championship Reign Could Have Been AWESOME!

the miz Do you remember Wrestlemania 27? Most people do, but then when they are asked to recount what they remember most about the big dance they invariably say the brutality of the Triple H-Undertaker fight, or when the Rock Rock Bottomed Cena. Well, this is not an article about either of those things. This is an article about a man who actually won the WWE Championship Main Event at Wrestlemania (albeit with a bit of help from the Rock) who now finds himself being knocked out by the Big Show and getting chewed out by Triple H and his wife for a living. I speak, of course, of the Miz. Since that great night at Wrestlemania 27 it hasn't exactly been salad days for the Awesome One. He lost the title at Extreme Rules and after losing the rematch at Over the Limit, lost to his apprentice Alex Riley at Capitol Punishment. Since then, he has only had one WWE title PPV appearance- against CM Punk and Alberto Del Rio at TLC 2011 and has been an afterthought at Wrestlemania 28 and 29. However, this article isn't exactly going to rue the loss of the Miz from the main event scene. What it is going to do instead is look at the way that his title run could have been so much more than the prelude to the Rock/Cena match at Wrestlemania 28. I'll look at what the Miz brought to the table as champion and how this could be utilised and why exactly it wasn't. Finally, I'll examine what the WWE possibly could have done better, with the benefit of hindsight.
