WWE Intercontinental Champion Ryback Returning To Raw

It's feeding time.

The current WWE Intercontinental Champion Ryback is scheduled to be back on Raw tonight in Everett, Washington after being out of action for nearly a month due to a staph infection. The report comes from PWInsider. On last week's Smackdown, Big Show did a backstage promo where he announced that there would be an Intercontinental Title triple threat match between Ryback, Show and The Miz. That match was supposed to take place at Battleground on July 19, but Ryback was unable to compete due to his staph infection. The injury was unfortunate because Ryback was doing some of his best work in his WWE career. His matches were getting better and getting a win in a feud with Big Show would make him look like a bigger star. That can still happen at SummerSlam and hopefully he doesn't have anything worse happen to him. Last week, Ryback posted this photo on social media saying this was the best his leg has looked, so it has likely improved tremendously thanks to whatever medication he's been on.
Ryback hasn't commented on his TV return on Twitter, but he did post a link to his new t-shirt. https://twitter.com/Ryback22/status/630747918874443776 With SummerSlam running four hours long this year, the card is expected to have eight or nine matches, if not more. They should be able to have a decent IC Title match and Ryback is expected to be at 100% for the match as well.
