The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that WWE are interested in signing Shinsuke Nakamura. The talented New Japan star is considered one of the best pro wrestlers in the world, but has never had any major US run. From WWE's perspective, he's tall enough and would be a good addition to the NXT roster. Despite being thirty-six before he'd even start, the long term goal would be to get him to the main roster. It wouldn't be a Samoa Joe type deal. Fans should look out for a potential move when Nakamura and New Japan have contract negotiations next month. However, New Japan owner Takaaki Kidani is able to hand out seven figure deals to top guys. The company would be able to match any potential WWE offer, so it really comes down to what Nakamura wants to do with his career. Does he want to build New Japan up, or does he want the glory of WWE on his career history? It is a decision that he should think about carefully. KENTA was widely regarded as one of the best wrestlers in the world, then became Hideo Itami in WWE's NXT. His career has been a none-entity ever since, albeit with injuries restricting him.
