WWE: Looking At "One If By Land And Two If By Knee" Edition Of NXT And The Main Event

wwe main event

Boston, which saw the beginning of the colonial Revolution against the British also saw the debut of the Confederation of Injustice, the Shield against Tons of Funk and Kofi Kingston. The matches like most involving the pair with they begin to get dominated then get the advantage leading to the victory. Interesting the notes that Naomi and Cameron, who were there at the beginning of the match instantly disappeared with commentary due to the unpredictable and violent nature of the Shield. I like that touch. However, it did so like a weird and it in a gap in logic considering the ladies came down with them. Rollins, Reigns and Ambrose look impressive as they take down another trio and beat down T and Brodus, giving them both the triple power bomb. Also that spear from Dean Ambrose to Brodus looked rather sick.. I know from the booking on Monday that this is leading to a match against the brothers of destruction and Daniel Bryan. But WWE, how many trios can you have them destroy before you evolve the storyline a little bit. I mean it's great that they're winning. But do you have a direction for the thing? We head backstage with Matt Striker and hear comments from Big E Langston standing in for the celebrating new World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler. Langston is very charismatic for a guy of his size and build. Great stuff as the soldier came out to the ring for his first victory against the very depressing these days Zack Ryder. Squash€ But glad to see Langston starting to integrate into WWE programming. Then we get to the final segment of the night in which the very angry. "Real American" Jack Swagger along with Zeb Colter as he battles the "Poison Fist of the Pacific Rim" Yoshi Tatsu. Before we get to that though Colter offends the Irish the hockey fan and swagger's opponent being very very lowbrow someone from the Rising Sun that said, I thought was great the character as at this point with a limited shelf life of the storyline seems to be limited. So they're just casting a wide net to offend everybody. This leads to a short match between the American patriot and Yoshi, which saw Swagger very impassioned winning with the Patriot Lock as we go off the air.

NXT this week was quite the episode as he began with a look back at recent history between Regal and Kassius Ohno before we head into the arena and are joined by Tom "and Jerry" Phillips and the returning Brad Maddox, who didn't have as many Golden lines this week, but was still good in his role as the goofy sidekick. The action begins this week as I get a double dose of The Shield as they battle three lower-level guys showing off the continuity ending with the bow and arrow from top rope combination for the victory. After the match. They cut the normal injustice promo before he getting interrupted by the very eclectic Corey Graves, who challenges Rollins to a match. Seth says he will fight him one-on-one. We hear backstage interviews from the ladies of NXT involving the very entertaining Emma who may not stumble over words but she definitely was a trip in her interview with René Young as the young Aussie introduced us to the Emmalution of dance. Great stuff. Summer Rae also has words with Tony Dawson, who forgets who he talks to as the first lady of NXT says that Paige is lucky that she was curling her hair there would've been trouble again. Another great interview. In a weird move, we do not see any NXT diva in this week's match. But instead get Naomi and Cameron versus the Bella twins. Not much to say about this really. Although I do like Naomi's rearview and I may be an ass for saying this but that's one move I be willing to take. The Bellas squeak out the victory. Promos tell us that next week, Seth Rollins will face Corey Graves in a lumberjack match and that in two weeks time the buzzed about Clash of the Champions special. From everything I've heard about this episode, you need to watch this above any other. Before the main event, we hear more excellent interviews from William Regal and KO say that they're ready to go to war€ Great stuff€ Regal says he's got dark places in his head that it he is ready to show the KO kid that he still as evil as ever. Ohno, who during his interview is wearing a Barbershop Window, William Regal, " Real Man's Man" T-shirt says he's ready to get revenge for his ear from last week. Great stuff from both men. The main event was probably the most brutal thing you'll ever see that did not involve blood on WWE television. It was a war of attrition that I can't really do justice with my words you just have to see it. At one point, Regal who is working on neutralizing the famous creavaut dislocated the figures on one hand to neutralize one of KO's favorite holds. The battle was just this great on the other side as the former Chris Hero worked on Regal's balance, nailing him behind the ear affecting his equilibrium. But luckily the man that was born naughty and walked the Golden Road was able to hit the Knee Trembler for the win. Both men sold this like champions. Overall, two good hours of WWE programming, especially that NXT main event was something that any true wrestling fan or new fan need to see because that's how it's done. It'll be interesting to see what they do going forward. I'll see you next time.
