WWE May Use Daniel Bryan Burglary In A Storyline

This is proof that WWE storylines really can come from anywhere!

Last week there was a big story as WWE Superstar Daniel Bryan returned to his Phoenix area home Thursday night along with his wife Brie Bella. She picked him up from the airport after he spent the day at the San Diego Comic Con. When they got to their house it was discovered that two guys broke into their home. Bryan was able to apprehend one of the men. According to Bryan at his press conference, he chased him about 400 meters and tackled him. He put him in a rear naked choke hold although he said he didn't do it to hurt him. He just did it to keep him grounded. The cops were called and arrested the man. The other man got away. This miraculous story was picked up on news outlets all over the world and of course WWE.com wrote about it too. Now there's a rumor courtesy of F4Wonline.com that they might actually turn this real life incident into a storyline. The story would be that Triple H and Stephanie McMahon (aka The Autority) sent these two criminals to Bryan and Brie's house because of all the problems they have caused. Bryan is currently injured, but Brie slapped Stephanie in the face on Monday's Raw and is rumored to have a match with her as soon as SummerSlam or possibly further down the road. While it is merely just a rumor at this point, there has been at least some talk within WWE of turning this incident into a storyline. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yvWsYKc3FFw In a somewhat related story, there have been reports that WWE did the Stephanie McMahon arrest storyline as a rib on Emma, who legitimately got arrested for shoplifting a $21 iPad case at a Wal-Mart. This may come off as harsh, but if this real life incident gets turned into a storyline that would be ridiculous even by WWE's standards. While they probably love the "wink-wink" aspects of these kinds of stories, it's okay to let it go. What if the criminals had weapons on them? If Bryan tackled a guy that had a weapon he could have been hurt or worse. It's not something to make light of just because nobody was seriously hurt. If you're wondering, there's still no definite update on Bryan's health status. He probably needs a second surgery to help repair the strength in his right shoulder, but nothing is official at this time. The only thing we know for sure is he's a good man that protects his family. Huge respect for that.
