Though few details were revealed on the spot, Vince McMahon appeared on the Raw following WrestleMania to announce that next week's program will feature a "Superstar Shake Up." WWE.com described the "shake up" as McMahon "granting both sides an opportunity to make trades, deals and other moves that they feel fit."

In 2004, 2005, and annually from 2007 to 2011, both Raw and Smackdown (and ECW, from 2007 to 2009) participated in a "random" lottery where general managers would get to poach stars from other brands. Typically, this involved interbrand matches where whichever wrestler scored victory would earn a pick for his show. Over the years, many major switches were featured in the lotteries, including John Cena's jump to Raw in 2005.

Here's what WWE.com says the draft has in store for next week:

"Mr. McMahon also announced he has already conferred with lead representatives from Raw and SmackDown LIVE in advance of the shake-up that will take place for both brands. That includes the newly named Raw General Manager, WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle, as well as SmackDown General Manager Daniel Bryan, who are already in ongoing discussions with each other regarding next week's anticipated Superstar movement, WWE.com has confirmed. The WWE Chairman will be granting both sides an opportunity to make trades, deals and other moves that they feel fit, according to WWE.com sources. There are many potential maneuvers that the WWE Universe will surely be buzzing over."

More details regarding the structure of the "shake up" will likely be revealed in the coming week, though it will mark the first major roster moves since WWE was split along show lines last summer. Next week's Raw will air from Long Island's Nassau Coliseum, the first show at the venue since its renovation. The Nassau Coliseum previously hosted SummerSlam 2002, The Great American Bash 2008, and the first portion of WrestleMania 2.
