WWE Network subscribers will have received a circular in their inbox over the past few days, detailing that in order for the company to provide "the best possible viewing experience", support for the streaming service will soon end on a number of legacy devices.

Starting 21 May, the following platforms will no longer be supported by the WWE Network:

• Amazon Fire Tablets

• Samsung and Sony Blu-Ray Players

• Sony - non Android TVs

• Windows 10 Desktop

• Xbox 360

To clear up any ambiguity, 'Windows 10 Desktop' refers to the standalone WWE app for the operating system, and not in-browser play, so there's no need to rush out and download Linux.

WWE have updated the list of currently supported devices, available here.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
