WWE are in full-on acquisition mode, and one of Impact Wrestling's brightest rising stars is in their crosshairs.

Per Dave Meltzer in this week's Wrestling Observer Newsletter, both WWE and NJPW are interested in signing the 33-year-old Killer Kross primarily for his size and look.

The tattooed brute stands at 6'4" and weighs in at 265lbs. A product of Jeff Jarrett's Global Force Wrestling, he made his Impact debut at the conclusion of a mystery attacker angle in June, and can also be found working for Lucha Underground, for whom he performs as The White Rabbit.

Kross is currently undefeated in just three Impact matches, and recently aligned with Heavyweight Champion Austin Aries and Moose to form a heel stable. The promotion are yet to hand him a breakout singles clash, and a five-minute showing against X Division stalwart Petey Williams remains his longest so far, but he shows potential.

Much could depend on his Lucha Underground contract situation. Ricochet's WWE signing was famously held up by such matters, with the company flexing legal muscle to keep him around until all previously taped matches had been aired. Still, such wranglings are a long way off - WWE and NJPW's interest seems to be in its formative stage.
