There has been much speculation surrounding the future of NXT recently, and most of it has been of the fearful nature.

First, Triple H announced that the next NXT TakeOver special would be titled 'The End', fuelling rumours that the developmental brand may very well be coming to an end. These fears were exacerbated somewhat when Ticketmaster decided to remove all listing and tickets for the NXT TakeOver special planned for SummerSlam weekend. Things didn't look too good for NXT.

Well, good news replaces the bad news today, as WWE officials have stated that the NXT TakeOver special planned for SummerSlam weekend will indeed still go ahead. The event still remains on the Barclays Center (the venue) website, and is likely to be re-added to Ticketmaster soon with new logos and details, according to F4WOnline.com.

Well thank the big man upstairs for that. Does this mean all speculation as to the end of NXT will now cease? Well, probably not, but with the brand split forthcoming there may be more forks in the road for the developmental brand yet. TakeOver: Brooklyn may yet see Mojo Rawley and Tino Sabbatelli go at it
