WWE NXT Taping Results (Sept 10)

Three weeks of shows leading up to the October 7 NXT Takeover special.

WWE taped three episodes of NXT programming at Full Sail University in Orlando that will air through September as a lead in to next NXT Takeover event on Wednesday, October 7. Here are the results from the tapings. Episode one (September 16) Tyler Breeze, Adam Rose and Bull Dempsey did an in-ring segment. Dempsey wanted to fight Breeze, ended up going after Rose and Breeze ran away. Tye Dillinger beat an enhancement talent. Apollo Crews beat Solomon Crowe and Crews got a great reaction. Rhyno and Baron Corbin beat Johnny Gargano and Tomasso Ciampa in Dusty Rhodes Classic tournament match when Corbin pinned Gargano. Bayley beat Sarah Dobson. After the match, Sasha Banks showed up for a promo. This is where it was announced by NXT GM William Regal that Bayley vs. Banks would take place at the NXT Takeover event for the Women's Title in a 30 minute Iron Man Match. The crowd loved hearing that. Episode two (September 23) Jason Jordan and Chad Gable beat Dawson and Wilder. Eva Marie beat Carmella by count out. Tyler Breeze beat Bull Dempsey due to putting his feet on the ropes while he was pinning him. NXT GM William Regal was at a desk in the ring to announce the signing of Kana, whose new name is Asuka. Dana Brooke and Emma went to the ring to tell her that they run the show, which led to Asuka getting upset and leaving. The Vaudevillains beat Blake & Murphy to retain the Tag Team Titles. Since Alexa Bliss was there to support Blake & Murphy, Blue Pants went to ringside to support The Vaudevillains and prevented Bliss from interfering. Episode three (September 30) Apollo Crews beat Johnny Gargano. Dana Brooke and Emma teamed up to beat Peyton Royce and Billie Kay. Tyler Breeze beat Tommaso Ciampa. The report noted that Breeze won the match with the Unprettier finisher that Christian used to use. NXT Champion Finn Balor and Samoa Joe beat Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady in a Dusty Rhodes Classic tournament match. Thanks to Lordsofpain for the results.
