Some WWE officials are against a Divas match taking place at WrestleMania 28, according to reports in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
A Divas match had been expected to be on the card for months and recently the idea was for a Beth Phoenix vs Kharma in a bout for the WWE Divas Championship but some within the WWE are against it saying having a woman’s match just for the sake of it would take time away from other matches the fans are most interested in paying their money to watch.
Some are suggesting the WWE Divas match could be bumped to a pre-show encounter.
Personally I would feel really sorry for Beth Phoenix if her scheduled/proposed WrestleMania match was taken from her as she has been an incredible performer this year and she has more than earnt her place on the card.
The current WrestleMania card has four confirmed matches but many, many more proposed;
John Cena vs. The Rock
WWE Title Match
Chris Jericho vs. CM Punk
World Heavyweight Title Match
Sheamus vs. Daniel Bryan
Hell in a Cell
Triple H vs. The Undertaker

Sexist bastards.
This is the the first Divas match I’ve been excited for in years so this would be a great shame.
If they dont have the match at WM the least they could do is start the angle at WM.
If they think a Diva’s match can take away from the other matches, then they have no faith whatsoever in the card they already have. If Beth Phoebix vs Kharma does not happen at WrestleMania, I will be so pi**ed!
Remember when wwe invested in it’s divas deviation, what happened to those days when you wanted to see the divas match,tag match, I.C. match. Wwe lost it’s attitude.
