The Revival's WWE future is up in the air once more, with Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp reporting that company officials fear that Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder are on the verge of finishing up with the company.

While there's no indication that the duo have actually asked for their release (despite intense speculation yesterday), Sapp writes that he was informed WWE sources "have reason to be very fearful that The Revival are done," and it may relate to undisclosed situation that went down behind the scenes on this week's WWE Raw.

This is no great surprise. Greatly misused on WWE's main roster, Dash and Dawson have made little attempt to hide their frustrations on social media, and recently wore tights adorned with "#FTR" (IE: "F*ck The Revival") on Raw. Regardless, if they do ask to be let go, Vince McMahon is under no obligation to turn them loose, and may choose to retain a tag team that would undoubtedly be a major asset to All Elite Wrestling.

Dash and Dawson defeated the Lucha House Party on this week's Raw, though the main roster has never presented them as the 'Top Guys' they purport to be. Reaching that level in the world's biggest promotion may be now an impossibility.
