The Nexus had arguably one of the most impactful debuts on Monday Night Raw in recent memory when they interfered in a match between John Cena & CM Punk and proceeded to destroy ringside and anyone in the vicinity.
Led by Wade Barrett, the rookies from the inaugural season of NXT formed a stable with the intention of reshaping WWE in the way they saw fit; utilising their strength in numbers and attacking anyone who got in their way.
A memorable feud against John Cena developed, and although they lost an elimination match against a group led by Cena at SummerSlam, they enjoyed multiple main events on pay-per-view and held the WWE tag team championship on multiple occasions.
WWE ended up ruining the concept, but for a while they were the most over stable in wrestling.
