WWE's festive schedule is often a bone of contention, and 2017 saw the company draw widespread criticism for hosting live episodes of Raw on Chrismas and New Year's Day.

Fortunately, Vince McMahon & co. are taking a different approach this year. With Christmas Eve falling on a Monday, WWE opted to pre-tape next week's episode rather than have their wrestlers work the night before the biggest holiday of the year, and did so in Sacramento, California last night.

Elias began the evening with a Christmas sing-along in the ring. He bashed Bobby Lashley and Lio Rush, who promptly interrupted, sparking this year's Miracle on 34th Street Fight.

Elias d. Bobby Lashley. Per the write-up, a key spot saw Elias open a present full of Legos, leading to him hitting at least one move on the debris, before smashing a violin over Lashley. Oh, Lio Rush got doused in eggnog too. Sounds great.

Finn Balor d. Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler in a Triple Threat via pinfall on Ziggler. Post-match, McIntyre tried to attack Ziggler but was thwarted by a Zig Zag. So much for Drew's push, eh?

The 'Celebrating the Holidays with Paul Heyman' segment saw 'The Advocate' declare Brock Lesnar will beat Braun Strowman at the Royal Rumble. Strowman (sans arm sling) interrupted, scared Paul, then placed a Santa hat on his head to close.

Raw Women's Champion Ronda Rousey d. Natalya via armbar.

Heath Slater d. Jinder Mahal via DQ following the Singh Brothers' interference. Rhyno, dressed as Santa Claus, ran the heels off.

Seth Rollins d. Baron Corbin via stomp in the main event.
