Yes. Musical chairs.

Eugene was placed in charge of the July 5th, 2004 episode of Raw, making for a different show than usual. Raw may have, at times, felt like it was being booked by someone who was educationally subnormal, but this one actually was. Kicking off the show was a game of musical chairs, with a title shot on the line.

Those taking part in this draining physical contest were Ric Flair, Jerry Lawler, Stacy Keibler, Tomko, Tajiri, The Coach and hometown boy Chris Jericho. What a wonderfully eclectic group of performers that is.

The Japanese Buzzsaw was the first eliminated but he hit Coach with the green mist out of spite, eliminating him. The King was eliminated in the third round after sitting in Stacy Keibler's lap, while the leggy blonde was herself eliminated when The Nature Boy shoved her to the ground (he's such a villain).

Flair strutted too long and was eliminated next, leaving Y2J and 'Goat Boy' Tomko as the final two. After the two circled each other as if they were in a WrestleMania main event, the quick-thinking Jericho grabbed the chair, decked his opponent and bagged the title shot.

Later that night he had a damn fine Intercontinental Championship match against Randy Orton, although he came up just short in the end. The musical chairs was entertaining, outside-the-box stuff and turned out to be one of the most memorable segments of 2004.
