WWE Raw Promo Video Says Chris Jericho Returns Monday

WWE doesn't look like they are going to wait until January 2nd to bring back Chris Jericho. On a newly released promo trailer for the three hour Raw SuperShow on Monday (promoted as being The Slammy's Awards Show) at 0:29 seconds, the voiceover says 'will a new challenger emerge to face WWE Champion CM Punk" before a Y2J style 10 to 1 countdown begins. The video then says 'The Wait Is Over' and Chris Jericho's fading voice proclaims 'Best In The World of What I Do" before a white shadow of the Jericho pose is shown on screen before it fades. You can watch the promo below on Youtube for yourself; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WkNYLBufKRU This is more than a hint from WWE that Chris Jericho is returning on Monday and feels more like an advertising promise (though they've done the same thing for Brodus Clay and where is he?) and also that he will find himself in a program with CM Punk. I did suggest last month that if I were booking the WWE, I would have Chris Jericho return and win the Royal Rumble and go into a four month feud with Punk that would culminate at Wrestlemania 28 for the WWE Title. Of course if Jericho does return on Monday, that certainly leaves The Undertaker as the biggest viable candidate for the January 2nd promo return videos.
