WWE Raw Results 1/10/12 - CM Punk vs Ryback Feud Begins

Last night's WWE RAW results from the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Michael Cole and hometown hero Jim Ross are announcing the show in what is Jim Ross Appreciation Night. WWE Champion CM Punk comes out with Paul Heyman holding the WWE title. Heyman raises it in the air as Punk begins to speak and he cuts a promo on John Cena and rips into the local fans. He then trash talks Mick Foley before announcing that at WWE Hell in a Cell, he will not be facing John Cena. Paul Heyman and CM Punk have some private words and then Heyman shows some footage from last week of his wedding proposal to AJ Lee. He points out that AJ never said no. Heyman claims as a General Manager, she violated an edict from the WWE Board of Directors. She was not to put her hands on any Superstar, manager or anyone else, ever again. Heyman says she must be removed from her role immediately. Heyman says he should take her place. Vickie Guerrero comes out to a chorus of boos. She has Dolph Ziggler with her. She angles for the job for the same reason before Ziggler comes up with the idea of Heyman and Guerrero as co-GM's. The crowd boos. AJ Lee comes out and reveals that the Board of Directors have put her on probation. She knew she wasn't supposed to put her hands on anyone last week but she thought they would make an exception for a poor excuse of a man like Heyman. AJ says she has been appointed a coach to help her out with her anger. Out comes one-half of the WWE Tag Team Champions Daniel Bryan. Bryan puts himself over, trash talks AJ and calls himself the tag team champions before the stage explodes and out comes Kane. He says everyone has forgot one thing about AJ - she's an amazing kisser. Kane says everything else Bryan said tonight is true except one thing... he is the tag team champions. They start to argue as Punk raises his title belt and Ziggler holds up his briefcase. AJ tells everyone to shut up and says this is her show, which gets a crowd pop. She announces Punk and Ziggler vs. Team Hell No for tonight, as she skips away whilst they all argue. 1) WWE Tag Team Title Tournament Match: Rey Mysterio & Sin Cara defeated Primo & Epico. Rey splashed on Primo from the top rope for the pinfall victory. The Prime Time Players were at ringside during the match. 2) WWE United States Champion Antonio Cesaro defeated Brodus Clay with the Neutralizer in a quick match non-title match. Backstage segment where it is revealed Christopher J. Stephenson is AJ's coach and not Daniel Bryan. 3) WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz defeated Zack Ryder with the Skull Crushing Finale in a non-title match. Booker T hosts a debate between Big Show and World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus to hype their match at WWE Hell in a Cell. 4) Ryback defeated Tensai with a Big Clothesline.5) WWE Divas Champion Eve Torres defeated Beth Phoenix in a non-title match with the Neckbreaker. General Manager AJ Lee runs into Wade Barrett backstage and he is pissed that he hasn't got a match tonight. She blames AJ for putting personal relationships first before business. 6) Santino Marella defeated Heath Slater by DQ when Jinder Mahal and Drew McIntyre attacked Marella and stopped him from putting the Cobrea on Marella.7) WWE World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus defeated Damien Sandow with the Brogue Kick. Cody Rhodes kept interfering. Jim Ross appreciation segment begins but CM Punk interrupts and trash talks Ross. He bullies him and eventually he tells Ross to go to the back before Ryback then comes back down with him and protects Ross as he ends up back on commentary. The crowd chant "Feed Me More" as Ryback and Punk stare down each other. 8) Alberto Del Rio defeated Kofi Kingston with a Cross Armbreaker.9) WWE Tag Team Champions Kane & Daniel Bryan defeated WWE Champion CM Punk and Dolph Ziggler when Kane chokeslams Punk for the win. Lots of interference from Heyman, Guerrero and AJ in this one.
