Last night's WWE RAW results from Nashville, Tennessee. Michael Cole and Jim Ross are on commentary. Ross hypes CM Punk's WWE Hell in a Cell opponent decision tonight. Big Show opens the show and comes down to the ring, to a chorus of boos. He talks about the debate from a fortnight ago and says Booker T and Sheamus just want to make him look foolish. Show says he wants Daniel Bryan right now, as we cut to Bryan, Kane, R-Truth, Zack Ryder and others watching the monitor backstage. Bryan says he ain't going anywhere, but then General Manager AJ Lee appears and orders him out there. Kane laughs as Bryan yells NO but makes his way to the ring. 1) Big Show defeated WWE Tag Team Champion Daniel Bryan with a Chokeslam from the top. After the match, Kane's pyro goes off and comes to the aid of his tag team partner before Show can hit the WMD punch on Bryan. Paul Heyman holding the WWE Title is in the ring. There is a stand covered up, which likely has a photo of Punk's Hell in a Cell opponent. Heyman puts over Punk and introduces the WWE Champion. Punk comes out and says he will put people down who don't respect him. He brings up the fight with Vince McMahon last week and brags about smacking Vinnie Mac in the face. Punk says we will never see Vince compete again and you can thank him for that. Punk shows us the Hell in a Cell poster where he is dressed as the devil and that is what everyone thinks of him. Punk brings up Ryback and John Cena and says he is about to reveal his decision. Vince McMahon's music hits. Vince says Punk just blew it. Vine will make the decision and there will be a contract singing later on tonight and right before that, Vince has a big announcement. Vince says Punk's fate is now in his hands and tells Punk to respect that. 2) Alberto Del Rio defeated Brodus Clay with the armbar submission. Heyman and Punk are having words backstage. Punk says he wants to fight Vince again this week and sends Heyman off to give the Chairman a message. 3) The Prime Time Players defeated Zack Ryder and Santino Marella when Titus powerbombs Ryder for the quick win. Post match, Heath Slater, Drew McIntyre and Jinder Mahal come out and they dump Santino and beat down on Ryder. They do their lines on the mic and Slater says their stable name is 3MB. (3 mega bytes?) Vickie Guerrero and Dolph Ziggler come out to the stage. Ziggler complains about Ryback being up for a title shot. He calls Ryback a flash in the pan and says he is the one who wants a WWE Title match. He wants Punk at Hell in a Cell so he can win both titles in the same night. David Otunga comes out and agrees. But then he says Ziggler doesn't deserve the shot either. Otunga says it's about time he got a title shot. Otunga takes a shot at Vickie and out comes AJ Lee who makes a triple threat match next; 3) Ryback defeats Dolph Ziggler and David Otunga in a triple threat match when he nails the Shellshocked on Otunga. Ziggler by this point had run away to the stage with Vickie Guerrero. Vince McMahon is backstage on the phone when Paul Heyman walks in. He gives props to Vince for his performance last week and brings up Punk's challenge for a rematch tonight. Heyman says if Punk wins, he gets to pick his opponent for Hell in a Cell. Vince agrees but says the match would be against Heyman and not Punk. Heyman says no and Vince tells him to get out of his sight. Vince smiles and says he loves being him. Matt Striker walks up to AJ last week. He brings up Kane and Daniel Bryan attacking him on Smackdown last week. He says he won't go to the Board of Directors but he does want an apology. AJ laughs and says Striker should ask for one... right after his match with Kane tonight. 4) WWE United States Champion Antonio Cesaro defeats Justin Gabriel in a non-title match when he hit the Neutralizer on Cesaro for the victory. 5) WWE Tag Team Champion Kane defeated Matt Striker with a Chokeslam in a quick match. During the match, Striker brought up Dr. Shelby and Kane responded with some hugs before it turned into a crazy bearhug. Post-match, Kane sits down next to Striker and tries to interview him. Kane yells about how he is the tag team champion.
MizTV is next. He cuts a promo on Kofi Kingston about his challenges on Main Events. Kofi comes out in a suit and says he will beat Miz on Wednesday night and become the new Intercontinental Champion. Kofi proposes a warm-up match tonight and Miz agrees. 6) WWE World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus defeated Wade Barrett by DQ when Big Show came down and pulled down the rope which led to Sheamus hitting the floor. After the match, Sheamus hit a Brogue Kick on Barrett and then threw Big Show out of the ring. Vince is backstage on the phone when John Cena walks in to a big pop from the crowd. Vince says he has the doctors prognosis but wants to hear it from Cena. Cena says he has felt better but has felt worse. Cena says he belongs out there and if Vince picks him, he will do what he does best. 7) WWE Divas Champion Eve Torres defeated Layla to retain her title, though Layla's feet were on the bottom rope during the count, Eve knocking them away before the ref could see. Daniel Bryan is backstage with Kane and Bryan proposes that Kane face Big Show on next week's RAW. Back to Vince's office again, this time with Ryback. He thanks Ryback for helping him last week and if he realises what people are saying about him - that he's heartless and cold blooded, unstoppable and king of the mountain. Ryback just stares straight ahead and he turns and looks at Vince and says, "feed me Punk". 8) Damien Sandow & Cody Rhodes defeated Primo and Epico when Sandow hit his neckbreaker finisher on Epico. The match was supposed to be Rey Mystrio & Sin Cara vs Rhodes Scholars but Cole said on the commentary that Mysterio is out sick. 9) Kofi Kingston defeated WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz in a non-title match with the Trouble in Paradise. Vince McMahon comes out with a contract in hand for the final segment of the show. Tables and chairs are set out in the ring. He brings out WWE Champion CM Punk with Paul Heyman, then Ryback, then John Cena. Vince talks about making his decision before Punk cuts him off and calls him an egomaniac. Punk signs his WWE Hell in a Cell contract and says he will break whichever man Vince chooses. Vince says if Punk would have answered Cena's original challenge weeks back, they wouldn't even be standing here. Vince goes to make an announcement but Cena cuts him off and says he wonders if Ryback even cares about the WWE Title or does he just want to beat someone? Cena whips Punk and says right now, Punk needs to get his ass whipped. Cena gets the fans to chant "Feed me more" and Ryback starts to get over. Ryback signs the Hell in a Cell contract and Vince makes it official - it is Ryback vs Punk for the WWE Title at Hell in a Cell. Crowd chants for Ryback before he slams Punk's head face first into the table. He tosses the table and chants with the fans. He picks Punk up, marches around the ring with him and then lays him out with everyone chanting "feed me more".
