Last night's WWE Raw results from the Save Mart Center in Fresno, California.

Last night's WWE Raw results from the Save Mart Center in Fresno, California. Michael Cole and Jerry "The King" Lawler are on commentary as Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman kick things off and make their way to the ring. Heyman takes the mic and says how Lesnar vs. Triple H at SummerSlam last night was difficult to watch. He praises and hypes up Lesnar for defeating Triple H, making him quit on his family, the fans and everyone else. Heyman says HHH had his dignity and manhood stripped and that he is now just a shell of a man. Heyman doesn't feel sorry for Triple H and says none of the fans should either. Heyman asks last night's referee Scott Armstrong to come out to the ring as Lesnar has something to say to him. Heyman says HHH had Armstrong bend the rules at SummerSlam and for that Heyman says Lesnar has just two words for him. Lesnar backs him into the corner, pats him on the head and the shoulder and says "Good job" as Armstrong looked terrified. Heyman says Lesnar is now the new King of Kings, the Master of the Brock-tagon and the conqueror of the WWE Universe. Heyman says we are all now loyal subjects to Lesnar, whose music hits as they leave. 1) Sin Cara & WWE Tag Team Champions Kofi Kingston & R-Truth defeated Cody Rhodes & The Prime Time Players. The finish came when Cody Rhodes attempted to rip off Cara's mask but he rolled Cody up for the pinfall. Matt Striker is backstage with Raw General Manager AJ Lee. David Otunga walks up and says he is back to RAW. He talks about leaving to shoot The Hive film with Halle Berry. He congratulates AJ on becoming the new head of RAW and he points out that she might need some Harvard educated legal counsel. Otunga offers his services but she wants him to offer them in the ring tonight, against an opponent of her choosing. Otunga walks off. Striker questions AJ Lee about picking his own #1 contender for tonight. AJ says that is fine with her as long as she approves the opponent. She skips away. 2) Ryback defeated Mike Spinner & Andy Dacraz when Jinder Mahal ran in and attacked him for the DQ. Ryback was about to give them the Shellshocked in a squash. Post-match, Mahal continues his attack and hits Ryback with a knee to the face. Mahal applies The Camel Clutch but Ryback powers out of it and puts Jinder on his back, who then flees from the scene. Ryback then blocks one of the local wrestlers from attacking and slams them both down on the mat, sending a message out to Mahal who looks on. Chris Jericho is backstage when Dolph Ziggler appears. He congratulates him on his big win at WWE SummerSlam but he wants a rematch tonight to show he can beat Y2J. Jericho says he knows how to the win the big one but asks if Ziggler does. AJ comes skipping to the ring and says the rematch is on. However, there are stipulations. If Jericho loses, his contract is terminated at the country (sure, that makes sense) and if Ziggler loses, Y2J takes his Money in the Bank contract. AJ skips off as Ziggler chases after her. Alberto Del Rio is demanding a World Heavyweight Title rematch. AJ comes out and says she will put him in a match... but against Randy Orton. 3) Randy Orton defeated Alberto Del Rio when Alberto was distracted by World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus (who was on commentary) and got hit by an RKO for the pinfall. 4) Damien Sandow defeated Brodus Clay when The Funkasauras missed a big splash and Sandow rolled him up for the pinfall out of nowhere. Post-match, Clay suplexes Sandow and eventually dancers with Naomi and Cameron and some kids. Footage from last night of Brock Lesnar attacking Shawn Michaels is shown from last week's RAW. HBK is live via satellite from his home in Texas. HBK says he knows what is going through in Triple H's head right now. He talks about how he prepared for his career to end but there is really nothing that prepares you for that day. He says HHH is a warrior and a has been, a man of honour and integrity - something Heyman and Lesnar would know nothing about. HBK says HHH gave everything he could at SummerSlam and he wonders if things might have been different if he had been in HHH's corner. Shawn says he should have told HHH the truth, that he didn't think The Game could beat Lesnar. Shawn starts to get emotional and says Triple H has nothing to be ashamed of. Shawn calls him one of the greatest superstars that ever lived. Shawn says he always respected him and will always be proud of what he has done for the WWE universe. 5) Big Show defeated David Otunga with the WMD Knockout Punch. 6) Zack Ryder & Kane vs The Miz & Daniel Bryan goes to a no-contest when Kane throw the Timekeeper over the barrier and he lays his own partner out with the Tombstone Piledriver. 7) Kaitlyn won a #1 Contenders Divas Battle Royal against Eve Torres, Kelly Kelly, Aksana, Natalya, Alicia Fox, Tamina & Rosa Mendes WWE Divas Champion Layla looks shocked at ringside as Kaitlyn celebrates. Vickie Guerrero is backstage with Dolph Ziggler freaking out. They say this is the biggest match of Ziggler's career and losing is unthinkable. 8) Dolph Ziggler defeated Chris Jericho, forcing Y2J's contract to be terminated. The finish came when Ziggler blocked a Lionsault attempt with his knees and hit him with the Zig Zag for the clean victory. Post-match, Ziggler grabs the briefcase and celebrates in the ring. He runs around the ring and poses on the turnbuckles as Jericho sits there. Y2J grabs the briefcase and hits Dolph in the gut with it, then over the back. He his the Codebreaker on Ziggler as Vickie yells at ringside. Jericho shakes his head and greets a few fans at ringside on his way up to the ramp. WWE Champion CM Punk comes out to the ring and stands in front of Jerry Lawler. He says Punk remembered how Lawler said he had turned his back on the WWE Universe a few weeks ago. Lawler wants to go ahead and say it was a lie. Lawler said he meant no malice at all and felt that was accurate at the time. Punk wants an apology from Lawler. Out comes John Cena... Mixed reaction for Cena as Punk looks on. He asks if Cena could have waited at least until Punk called him out. He says he has had to take a backseat to Cena, Triple H and The Rock out of respect but respect is a two-way street and it's never been reciprocated how it should be to him. Punk says fans always ask why he's not in the main event. He says it is out of respect that Cena has to go on last. Punk says taking a backseat no longer makes sense. Punk says he beat Cena last year for the title. He says Cena is the #1 contender because he has to beat him again, and he will beat him again. Punk says all Cena has to do is admit Punk is the best in the world. Punk wants Cena to tell the truth. Cena says he hasn't been WWE Champion in 9 months and talks about how people stick with him through everything and have respect. Cena talks about Frenso and gets them to pop. He says he won't call Punk the best in the world. He says to succeed in his heart he has to be believe he is the best. Cena says he didn't think he would lose to The Rock at WrestleMania and if he gets another chance to win, he will. Cena congratulates Punk on his title reign but points out he held it for well over 300 days straight once. During that time, he never demanded anything from anyone, inside or out of the ring. Cena says Punk has been WWE Champion for 270 days and all anyone remembers is the night he blew a kiss to Vince McMahon. Cena says he isn't here to stroke Punk's ego and he can live with it if he doesn't choose him as a #1 contender because he knows he can get a title shot another way. Cena says WWE Night of Champions next month is in his hometown. He says if Punk can walk out still as the champ from that environment then he will defy existence. The choice is Punk's but if he doesn't choose him, he has no respect for the WWE title. Cena drops the mic and walks to the back. Punk turns to Lawler and demands an apology from him. Punk calls Lawler to the ring for a conversation. Lawler says Punk went too far and he needs to apologise. Lawler says it is all a misunderstanding but if Punk wants him to, he apologises. Lawler turns to leave but Punk stops him. He says if Cena doesn't want to say it, then he wants to leave Lawler call him the best in the world. Lawler says he can't do that and the crowd pops big. Lawler goes to leave and Punk kicks him in the back of the head and he grabs the WWE Title and kneels down in front of Lawler. Fans boo as Punk stares down at Lawler as RAW goes off the air.
