Last night's WWE Raw results from Albany, New York. Michael Cole and Jim Ross are on commentary. The show opened with WWE Champion CM Punk and Paul Heyman in the ring. Punk is sitting in a chair whilst Heyman takes the mic. Heyman says WWE Raw won't start this evening until justice is served. Heyman shows footage from last week where Punk had his feet on the ropes but the referee counted to three anyway. Heyman called it a grand injustice to Punk's title reign. Heyman calls out referee Brad Maddox and asks him to tender his resignation live on Raw. Maddox comes out. Heyman puts the mic in front of Maddox and he admits he made a mistake. It was his first main event match and he was nervous. He should have checked the ropes but he made a bad call and feels terrible. Heyman applauds him for admitting his mistake and now wants him to resign. The crowd chants NO! Maddox apologies but says resigning is not appropriate. Punk interrupts him and he's upset. He says Maddox should be ashamed of himself. Punk says Maddox also embarrassed him on his own show. He asks how he got the job in the first place. Maddox says WWE needed more refs when Raw went to three hours long. Heyman calls him a scab and a replacement. AJ thanks Maddox and sends him to the back. Heyman assumes she is out here to reverse the decision from last week. The General Manager of Raw says Heyman makes an ass out of himself and her when he assumes things. AJ says Maddox made a mistake last week but she won't fire him or let Heyman come out here and berate an official on air. AJ asks Heyman who the hell he thinks he is. Punk says he is the WWE Champion and the crowd boos. Punk says he is the only reason AJ has a job and that fans show up these days. Punk brings up his past with her and shows footage of her proposing this summer. He says that is why there is tension between them. He explains that the WWE universe did not realise how intimate they really were behind closed doors. Punk says he put the skip in AJ's step. Punk wants AJ to tell the crowd that he is the best in the world. Heyman says he's got this. The crowd now chant for Punk now. Heyman takes the mic and drops in front of AJ. He asks her to marry him! Heyman promises AJ all her wildest dreams of powers would be realised. Heyman says says he likes them young, dumb, uninhibited and ambitious. Heyman smiles and holds his arms out, still on one knee. AJ slaps him to the mat and walks to the back. After the break, Brad Maddox is backstage apologising to AJ. He says it won't happen again. AJ agrees that it won't because if he embarrasses her again or makes her look like an idiot, he will not only be fired but she will make sure he never has another job in the wrestling industry again. 1) Dolph Ziggler defeated Kofi Kingston with the Zig Zag. Before the match Vickie Guerrero and R-Truth had a confrontation at ringside which led to R-Truth drowning Guerrero with his drink. The referee banished both to the back. JR and Cole at ringside talk about John Cena's elbow surgery. He will be live here tonight and will talk about his future later. Back from the break and Cole says Dr. Shelby introduced a new form of therapy for the WWE Tag Team Champions Daniel Bryan and Kane earlier today. Shelby is show eating with Bryan at a local restaurant. Shelby has a role playing game for them to work through. Kane walks over wearing an apron and asks Bryan for his order. Bryan laughs and Kane says this is just stupid. Bryan orders a steamed vegetable player and a tag team partner that isn't a 7 foot freak. Shelby says this isn't Kane, this is Gerald - our friendly waiter. Kane says he attacked the cook earlier and put his beard in everyone's food. Tonight's #RAWactive is for the fans to pick a name for Kane and Bryan's tag team. The options will be revealed later. 2) Darren Young & Titus O'Neil defeated Santino Marella and Zack Ryder when Titus hit the big sit-down power bomb on Marella for the victory. Mick Foley is out next and says he is not here as a Hardcore Legend but as a member of the WWE Universe. He says he saw the emergence of CM Punk last year. That he inspired a change but wonders what it was. He says Punk used to tell people to stand up for themselves and be the voice for the voiceless. Punk's music hits and out he comes. Punk tells Foley not to come out here and grandstand to the fans. He says he's got respect for Punk but wants him to admit that he's only here so he can promote a new book he has wrote for kids. Foley says that's not why he is here. He says he congratulated Punk for winning the WWE Title last year with a text message and two minutes later Punk said thank you back. Foley says he is deeply distributed by Punk's recent actions and his alignment with Heyman. Punk stops and tells the crowd to show him some respect, call them jerks. The crowd boos and Punk is yelling at a particular fan. He tells the guy to come over so he can shove the mic down his throat. Punk is angry. He tells Foley he doesn't know what he is saying. Foley says he used to be a Paul Heyman guy but he didn't become someone in the business until he stopped listening to Heyman. Foley says Heyman has been in Punk's ear a lot longer than we've known about. He brings up Heyman's reputation as a liar. Foley wonders why Punk, one of the best talkers in the history of the industry, needs a mouthpiece. Foley says Punk needs to decide if he wants to be an inspiration to others or just another kool-aid drinker. Punk says if he's done. Foley brings up Hell in a Cell. He talks about his match with The Undertaker from 1998. Foley says he earned respect that night. Punk says he loved Foley's speech and asks if he wants the old CM Punk back. Foley wants Punk to show that he is the Best in the World by stepping into the Cell with John Cena. Punk asks the fans if that is what they want and they cheer him. Punk brings up Bret Hart and John Cena's speech from two weeks ago. Punk says he is nothing like Foley or Bret. Punk says Foley is beneath him. Punk says he doesn't know how many times he has to prove to the world that he is the best in the world. Foley tells Punk that WWE Raw General Manager has given him the power to extend the match to Cena. Punk will need to decide if he accepts the WWE Champion for the pay-per-view tonight. 3) WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz defeated Ryback with the Shellshocked for the pinfall. Kane and Bryan are sitting enjoying lunch together. Kane agrees with Bryan and says they can never be friends. Bryan says that's too bad because he destroyed 8 men on SmackDown. Kane starts beating on the table and Bryan yells "YES". Mae Young is seen sitting at the counter and says she wants what they're having! AJ Lee is backstage with the WWE referees. She says other sports do instant replays but the WWE doesn't and won't. She says everyone makes mistakes and tells them to do a good job. Alberto Del Rio, David Otunga and Ricardo Rodriguez walk in and apparently AJ asked to see them. She says all of them are victims of the Brogue Kick and tonight they can get their vengeance. It's going to be Sheamus, Rey Mysterio & Sin Cara vs Alberto Del Rio, David Otunga and Ricardo Rodriguez tonight. 4) Wade Barrett defeated Tyson Kidd with the Souvenir elbow for the victory. Michael Cole is in the ring and they go live to Jerry Lawler on the screen from Memphis. The crowd pops big. Lawler is sitting on his throne! He talks in a raspy voice from the breathing tube but says he feels a lot better than he should. He says it is great to be back with the WWE Universe on RAW. Cole asks Lawler the last thing he remembers from that night. Lawler says he remembers the opening segment with Bret Hart but he doesn't remember one bit of the tag match with Randy Orton. The next thing he remembers is waking up in a Montreal hospital. Lawler says the support he has had from everyone is incredible. He thanks the WWE universe from the bottom of his heart. He is leaving it up to the doctors to decide when he can return, and he will. 5) WWE World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus, Sin Cara & Rey Mysterio defeated Alberto Del Rio, David Otunga & Ricardo Rodriguez when Cara hit a splash on Ricardo from the top rope for the victory. Sheamus hits the Brogue Kick on Otunga post-match. Kane and Bryan segment from a local restaurant with Dr. Shelby. He tells them he wants each to take a bite of each other's friend. Bryan bits into Kane's meatballs and Kane eats a piece of Bryan's salad. Shelby asks Kane how he feels and burps in his face. Bryan says the meatball wasn't as bad as he thought but then he starts convulsing and throws up in Shelby's face. Kane asks for the check. Cole is at ringside. He says it's time to vote for the new name of Kane and Daniel Bryan's tag team. The options are #teamteamwork for Team Teamwork, #teamhellno for Team Hell No and #teamfriendhship for Team Friendship. Back to commercial. Back from the break and out comes one-half of the WWE Tag Team Champions Daniel Bryan and then Kane. Cole is in the ring and says their new name is to be Team Hell No. Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow then attack them from behind. Sandow says they did this to themselves. Cody calls them the Next WWE Tag Team Champions and they are now called Team Rhodes Scholars. 6) WWE Divas Champion Eve Torres & Beth Phoenix defeated Layla & Alicia Fox when Eve hit the neck breaker on Layla. After the match Eve dropped Beth with the neck breaker as Kaitlyn looked on. 7) Tensai defeated Brodus Clay by DQ when Big Show came out and hit Tensai with a big chop. Post-match, Show attacks Clay with a WMD punch. John Cena comes out for tonight's final segment. He thanks the fans for their support to his injury. He also apologies to referees Chad Patton and Brad Maddox and then apologies for CM Punk. Cena says it sucks being on the bench and that he can't guarantee his recovery but guarantees he will walk into Hell in a Cell. Punk's music hits and out he comes with Paul Heyman. Punk cuts a promo on Cena. Punk says he won't wrestle Cena at Hell in a Cell. Punk gives Cena some advice - run. Punk says he is going to turn his back, count to five and when he turns around, if he sees Cena in his pink hat and shirt, he's going to hurt him. Punk turns around and stars counting. Heyman turns around with him and raises the WWE Title. Cena pulls out a lead pipe and Cena hits him in the gut with it when he turns round. Heyman escapes the ring and Punk crawls out. Cena says that real men wear pink. Cena says he hopes to see Punk at Hell in a Cell. Cena's music hits and he holds up the pipe. Cena says... now that's what he calls a pipe bomb. Cena greets fans at ringside and then we see Punk walking backstage. He walks past Foley and they lock eyes. Punk turns around. He kicks Foley in the gut and knock him to the floor. Punk keeps walking and stops when he looks scarred at Ryback standing there. Ryback states Punk down as RAW goes off the air.
