This week's Raw will likely feature a lot of build up to the Elimination Chamber event taking place on May 31. With only two weeks of TV to build to the show, WWE will probably announce the six competitors in the Intercontinental Title match to be held in the Elimination Chamber as well as what we expect to be the six teams in the Tag Team Title Elimination Chamber match as well. For the Intercontinental Title match, no names have been officially announced, although some of the rumored participants are Sheamus, Dolph Ziggler, King Barrett and Neville. They could add Ryback and Bray Wyatt to it so that they would have three Payback feuds as a part of the Chamber match. Sheamus has been listed as the IC Champion in listings for WWE live events although that doesn't always mean it is official. Sheamus is definitely a favorite to be next IC Champ, though. Regarding the Tag Team Title Elimination Chamber, most likely WWE will announce the six teams taking part in that as well. The New Day are the tag champs that were told they would be defending in the Chamber, so we know they're in. Cesaro and Tyson Kidd are likely in as well since they're the top contender. After that, look for the Prime Time Players and Lucha Dragons to likely be inserted into the match just because they're established teams with a lot of credibility. The Ascension could be a part of it since they won at Payback. Then there's the reunited duo of Luke Harper and Erick Rowan that could round out the field. Some other notes on the show. - John Cena mentioned that since he's still the US Champion that he'll continue the US Title Open challenge on Raw this week. Since his feud with Rusev is over, we may see the start of a new rivalry for him as well. - Naomi is possibly getting a Divas Title match against Nikki Bella. It hasn't been announced officially although it has been teased by Naomi. It makes sense from a story perspective since Naomi pinned Nikki in the tag match at Payback. - Speaking of Naomi, Paige could make her return tonight to get revenge on her for taking her out. Paige has been out for over a month due to filming a WWE Christmas movie, so they wrote her out of the show with the injury angle. She was backstage at TVs last week as well as at live events this past weekend. - Big Show is expected to make his return to Raw. He's been out of action for about three weeks after putting over Roman Reigns at Extreme Rules. WWE never really mentioned why he was gone, but the story reason would be We hope he enjoyed his vacation. - There could also be some NXT involvement in the show since the NXT Takeover Unstoppable is this Wednesday although nothing confirmed in that regard. WWE normally announces matches for Raw about an hour before the show takes place, so be on the lookout for that on social media if you want to know more about what might happen tonight.
