WWE Release Big Cass... Where Did It All Go Wrong?

Apparently you can't teach that.

As you sure all know by now, WWE has released Big Cass barely 48 hours after his Money in the Bank loss to Daniel Bryan. That’s a bit of a shock.

Their statement, which is an absolutely mammoth read, goes:

"WWE has come to terms on the release of William Morrissey (Big Cass)”.

Thats… that’s it. After all those years at the company he doesn’t even get "future endeavoured", which is absolutely dripping with implication.

After a gruelling eight months on the shelf with an injury, his return consisted of a spot in the Greatest Royal Rumble, a few weird TV segments, and two PPV losses to one of the shortest dudes on the roster. Land of the giants, indeed.

All this as well for the man who, the very moment he arrived on the main roster, was earmarked as a future main-eventer because… well because look at him. If you asked Vince McMahon to draw a portrait of his own penis he’d basically draw Big Cass but with lipstick around his waist.

So what went wrong?
