WWE Royal Rumble 1999: Where Are They Now?

28. D'Lo Brown

Royal Rumble 1999: 1999 was a boom period for D'Lo ahead of what became a slow-slide out of the company. At this point caught between European Championship reigns, Brown was given a fair shake during the closing stages of the Rumble before being eliminated by The Big Boss Man. I've watched it back and that head wiggle thing is still amazing.

Where Are They Now: After the mid-card explosion of the 2000s, following WWE's acquisition of WCW and The Radicalz, D'Lo moved further and further down the card until his release in 2003. He returned in 2008, but is now semi-retired and mostly tweets about sandwiches.

27. Jeff Jarrett

Royal Rumble 1999: Despite being only a few months away from dramatically walking out on the company, Jarrett was riding the crest of a push following the release of his Southern Justice stablemates. He mustered less than four minutes in the Rumble however, being eliminated by a certain Triple H.

Where Are They Now: In the Hall of Fame, amazingly. Despite leaving under acrimonious circumstances and seemingly being hell bent on offering up major competition to Vince and Co, he was the main event of the WWE Hall of Fame class 2018. If ever there was a better example of why you never, ever, ever say never in wrestling, he's it.
